Skeleton and muscles

This page contains resources that will help teachers to deliver the GCSE Biology topics of the skeleton, muscles, movement and fitness training.

The structure of bones and the human skeleton are explained using clear animations and graphics. High quality sequences, including narrations, allow students to see how muscles, ligaments and joints work to produce movement. Students can investigate in detail the anatomy of bones, and the interactive resources also explain disorders such as osteoarthritis and rickets.
