Enhanced presentation to explore infra-red(IR) – ultra-violet (UV) spectroscopy in action

Activity 1: Hosting your digital 'mashup' using pre-generated content

Use our spectroscopy pre-generated video and slides to familiarise yourself with the capabilities of Zentation and have your first resource online in 15 minutes.

  • In the place of the edited video provided you could use movies from any source including Google Videos, Teacher TV and DVDs.
  • Go to Google Videos and create an account or sign in.
  • Upload a video in one of the formats Google accepts (AVI, MPEG, Quicktime, Real and Windows Media).
  • Write presentation slides, using PowerPoint, Keynote or any software that can generate PDFs. You can link to further resources or provide more details by using the presentation notes page on PowerPoint and this will be uploaded and viewable by the students.
  • Go to Zentation website and create an account or sign in.
  • Input your Google video link and upload your presentation. For the purpose of the activity, the spectroscopy pre-generated video can be viewed or downloaded
  • Syncing the video with the presentation in the Enhanced presentation to explore infra-red to ultra-violet spectroscopy.
