In the last activity you created two videos. For the purpose of this e-learning unit, we will work on Video Part 2. This video explores what stem cells are and the hopes and fears the research in this area raises. It also looks at the some of the ethical issues of stem cell research.
This video can be used to develop a student-centred activity using Windows Movie Maker. It will allow student to engage in research and then add value to the video footage. Students can complete their research on stem cells and compose slides with text and images. These slides will then be incorporated into the video to create a new video.
