Now you have the original video, you may want to split the original video (Stem cell research original video) into two parts to support a series of lessons. The first part of the video is all about a patient who is suffering from Parkinson's disease and is being treated to reduce tremors in the body. The second part explores the potential of stem cell research in treating patients with similar degenerative diseases. The first part of this video can be used to introduce the topic to the class while the second part can be used to allow the students to engage further with the topic.
Click on Video Editing Guide (Activity 1) to go through the simple steps to split the video into two parts. The two 'new' videos cover broadly Parkinson's disease and the potential of stem cells in therapy. (The two videos created are Video Part 1 and Video Part 2.)
